I forger frienships that were stronger thasn many family bonds. I miss thise days. Though I moved forward in theatre, I would give up much to return to those days of late night rehearsals, and then the cast gathering afterwards for pizza and drinks at Uncle Charlie's Pub. if any memeber from EUP is out there, email me and let me know what's going on. |

2005-07-28 23:26:53.508574 | | My son was a drama major at UGA and died in his sleep last week of the rare SUDEP which happens in people with epilepsy. He is now in heaven. If any of his fellow UGA actors read this I just want to thank you for all the happiness you gave my son during his last year of life. He loved everyone in the dept and could not wait to go back to school in August. He was the love of a Moms life and I miss him so much. It is a shame that a talented student with a huge heart was taken from us at age 19 but God has a plan. Go out enjoy drama and always remember Martin. Thanks his Mom |

Brenau University has an awards has an awards ceremony called "DIVAS". The categories include best actor/actress in a musical/straight play, best dancer, best striker, best looking in blacks, etc. We only do best of awards, performances, and awards to non-students for their contributions to theatre. The awards are barbie dolls spray painted gold (minus the clothes).

The awards are given to memebers and non members. They are all meant to be funny but just a few are very very curel. I am trying to stop this for next year. Some non members were very offended because comments were made concerning their body and what they looked like in a unitard. I am concerned that this stains the reputation of the frat. What are your opinions on this matter.. |
